Though their newer, more known material may be a little poppy, this band still has what it takes to rock the house. They’re unique gothic-punk style has landed them in the hearts of the lost generation. Their leading force is the powering vocals of lead singer Davey Havok and their guitarist’s heavier than most punk band riffs which give them their signiture “goth” sound. Their older songs are the more youth angst style song that gets most young riders pumped, so if you want to tear it up down the slopes pop theses boys into your playlist.

Chris Bartkowski is a snowboarder that grew up riding the same resort as I did. The name of it was Cockaigne and it was so small but yet so fun. It was tucked away in the back hills of Western New York. Chris now lives in Lake Tahoe and rides Northstar at Tahoe on a daily Basis. As you can see from above, Chris is killing it.

With breathtaking female vocals, creative drumming, and super good guitar playing, Paramore has taken the music scene by storm. Though they may be new to this, and very young they manage to keep the crowd coming back for more and more. Not to mention their banging lead singer keeps the men drooling at her feet. Flying down the slopes with this sick music will definitely inspire you to pull off some crazy moves.

Protest The Hero, with their thrash sounds, heavy instrumentals and thunderous melodic vocals isn’t just your normal metal band. Not only do they seems to continually re-invent new ways of keeping their sound fresh and awe inspiring, but also in every instumentaly technical manor while still keeping that heavy sound perfect for a pre-game psych up to get you in the zone, which we all love.

The crazy, creative, cacophonous sounds of this cynically sounding sadist has reinvented what we like to call heavy metal. From his roots in White Zombie, their singer Rob Zombie separated form the group to create his own little monster of glorious music. Using heavy metal sounds with a Techno drive, Mr Zombie created sinister beats that make the body move and undulate. When you’re looking for some to get wild to and tear it up on the slopes, listen to Mr. Zombie dawg.
