Veil Of Maya is a new-age metal/hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois. Veil Of Maya is known for their extremely technical arrangements with up tempo instrumentals and intense vocals. This four member band  is currently signed with Sumerian Records and is touring with several other melodic metal bands. This band is full of amazing progressions and monumental breakdowns that nobody should miss! Go out and purchase their record for a guaranteed great shred session.

The Stripes are one of the craziest and creative artists out there. This two piece band is really weirdly insanely good. Jack White and his deep guitar riffs and Meg White’s simple yet catchy drumming make the band worth listening to. Getting pumped on this makes for a super good run. I dont really listen to music when i snowboard but i like this stuff.

1. Helter Skelter by The Beatles
One of my favorite songs. possibly my favorite of all time, its really badass and loud and at the same time its got soul.

2. Najavo by The Black Lips
This band is new to me, nothing really too special about it, its just cool to talk about native americans.

3. Ballad of a Thin Man by Bob Dylan
This one is amazing. Its all scary and weird but its really like the blues or something. I remember when I first got highway 61 this song really stuck out to me, i donno why.

4. Night of the vampire by the 13th floor elevators
This song is also new to me, my friend Nick Dirks told me about this one in big bear this winter and i think Ben Rice showed me them too. I trusted them and now I have a new band that I like a lot. Thanks bros.

5. Thick as a brick(edit 5) by Jethro Tull
This song is really cool, I don’t know which version of it I like the best but there are a a bunch. Makes you feel good.haha.

Slipknot is total insanity. This nine piece band has been in the game over ten years now and have never been better. The amazing anguished scream of lead singer Corey and the thunder-drumming of Joey are what truly makes you blood thirsty for carnage. Nothing gets you more pumped to shred than the sick double-bass action and insane vocals of this band. Go out and and get their record, put them on the top of your shred list, and tear it up out on the slopes.

Joe Walsh is an all American singer/songwriter with a lot of soul. He’s been in three bands, most memorable is The Eagles. With his down-right meaty guitar riffs, Walsh is sure to get anyone pumped and ready to shred. Go pick up Joe and tear it up ya’ll

Their localist has a crazy high pitched falsetto that gives anyone goose bumps and harmonious guitar playing with a wicked sick bassist and a drummer that knows his way around the pedals, this band is all that your money can buy. Go out and buy them and put them on your playlist to tear it up like no other.

Get these guys on your playlist to shred to something that gets you going. Trust us. They’re worth the few bucks and even if you’re not tearing it up you can listen to them whenever wherever, go pick them up.

MSI is one of the most creative, crazy, odd musical groups out there. With the mixture of electronica, metal, and hip hop this band tears it up. Crazy, almost falsetto, voice from their lead singer and insane beats from the band ensure for near dangerous tricks, listen to these guys when you want to shread hardcore, cause there’s no turning back once you’ve started.
