Chris Bartkowski Snowboarding

Chris Bartkowski is a snowboarder that grew up riding the same resort as I did.  The name of it was Cockaigne and it was so small but yet so fun.  It was tucked away in the back hills of Western New York.  Chris now lives in Lake Tahoe and rides Northstar at Tahoe on a daily Basis.  As you can see from above, Chris is killing it.

Clint Allan is a Pro Snowboarder from the land down under. He is from Australia.

Clint always has a positive attitude and shreds it up tough. The first time I saw him snowboard I was kind of tripping on his style, he rides super smooth and pops super hard off the kickers ‘Mad air time’. Clint rides pro for Billabong, Sapient Snowboards, Grenade Gloves and Vonzipper Goggles. Check out Clint’s favorite music to listen to while he is shredding. This is Clint Allan’s PRO PICK.

1- Metallica: Master of Puppets
This was the first cd i ever owned. Metallica was my favorite as teen by far. Master of puppets brings memories of skating my vert ramp with my brother and friends in my backyard. It doesn’t get any better than that.

2. Beatles: The White Album
Not too much too explain here except that it is just amazing. I will never tire of the Beatles. Especially the White Album.

3. Radiohead: OK Computer
It took me a while to get into Radiohead. My friend would always play them and I would tell him to turn off that emotional crap but one day in Sacramento it grabbed me and never let go. There is so much complexity and emotion in this album. Just don’t do any long drives at night with it playing.

4. NOFX: White trash, Two heebs and a Bean
White Trash came out the year I moved to Tahoe. It was fast, melodic and totally addicting. Those were really good times filled with really good music.

5. John Williams: Star Wars Soundtrack
What did you expect? It’s Star Wars!!!

Mac Spedale | Sonora Pass, CA | snowboarding | music blog

Mac is a radical dude and he listens to some radical tunes which help him to do some radical moves on his snowboard. Watch and listen to what Mac’s got Jammin on his I-pod while he shreds one of the many resorts in and around Waaaasatch Mountain Range in Utah.

Ten years after - “I’d love to change the world”
I like shredding to this song because it makes me do better method grabs and tweaks. It also helps me pretend that I’m flying.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Slayer - “skeletons of society”
This song is good for spraying people, halfpipe riding, and all around slaying shit.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Notorious BIG - “gimme the loot”
Notorious just makes me want to bust caps in fools, and I think it makes you ride like ten times more stylish.
____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Van Morrisson - “Gloria”
Good for powder slashing.
_____________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Marvin Gaye - “Heard it through the grapevine”
This song makes me want to dance, and anything that makes me want to dance definitely makes me want to shred.

- Mac natty fs 360 - Sonora Pass

“Nothing is constant. That’s what I’ve always though. Here are my top five albums right now but it will change again like the time before.” - Jesse Smith

1. Mike Ness - Cheating at Solitaire - Don’t think twice - This album makes me want to get in my 50’s gangster hot rod with a pack of Reds and hit the highway to nowhere. One of my favorite Dylan songs but Mike covers it so well it sound like he wrote it.

2. S.T.R.E.E.T.S( skateboarding totally rules everything else totally sucks) - Bobognargnar- Georgia street - If you can find this album, you’ll understand. Quit everything, get a mellow 12 and go skate with your friends with this playing the whole time.

3. Tom Waits - Bone Machine - “I don’t want to grow up” - Seems like folks turn in to things they never want. The only thing to live for is today.” I had this line written on my wall when I was17 and it has stuck with me forever. I want this song played at my funeral.

4. 3 Inches of Blood - Battle cry under a winter sun - Hall of Heroes - This is the ultimate shred everything album for me. The best part in the song is when Cam does the demonic “Can you feel it?” voice. Every time I listen to this I picture a Viking Helmut on my head as I ride my ghost horse into battle.

5. Descendents – Somery - My dad sucks - I don’t think my dad does by any means but this song makes me wish that he did.

Greg Bokenkamp is a great rider, he burns Mammoth Mountain and his sponsors are Rome Sowboards, Val Surf, Grenade, 93-94, Doo-zee and Smith Optics. Here is his Top five music review from all the Time:
